Sheikh Ismael Essa

Shaykh Ismael Essa is the Founder & Director of Tarteel Academy. He currently is the Imam for daily prayers and leads Taraweeh during the blessed month of Ramadan at the Muslim Center of Greater Princeton. He is an Al-Azhar graduate with specialization in Qur’anic Sciences and the ten recitations. He holds many Ijazaat with connected Sanad (Chain of transmission) to the Prophet (ﷺ) for both reciting and teaching the Qur'an in its ten modes. He has taught Tajweed, Qira’at and Qur’aninc Sciences at different Masajid, institutions in Egypt, U.K., Ireland and the USA.
